455 V8. I believe this is the highest priced 1970s American wagon I have seen. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1972-Oldsmobile-Vista-Cruiser-/163037567537?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
Are minor rips to be expected, then? So, that's why no interior photos have been posted. Okay, I'll take the bait. But, no way will I pay that much. That's still quite a bit of cash to fork out for a fun not so high milage drivetrain
There are actually many photos of the interior. You have to look down the page at the body of the listing, not at the photo display at the top. He has probably 100 photos there.
Oh, that's right. We're dealing with ebay, again. Not your typical Astro buckets. But, better than no buckets at all. Where there're buckets, consoles will fit. Nice colors, for not being white or red He should pay his photographer, so that he could afford a bottle of shampoo, though:
I can't remember ever seeing one of these with front bucket seats.... My Dad ALWAYS wanted one of these, but ended up buying a '72 Cutlass Supreme notchback coupe. I came home from the hospital in 1974 in that Cutlass. Dad totally loved that car, but when Mom got pregnant with my kid-brother, Dad traded the '72 in for our '78 Pontiac Grand Safari wagon. I wish we still had EITHER car. Oh and if you want to see another Vista Cruiser, rent or locate a movie called Disorganized Crime. A Vista Cruiser has a big role in that film, and it's kind of a "lost" movie that is actually really funny and has a great cast.
Because he had to order it and the notchback was already on the lot? That sucks, when you need a car right away
They bought that Cutlass pre-kids. In '74 when I was born, Dad started looking at used Vista Cruisers but he never ended up getting one. As for the Cutlass, he REALLY wanted 442, but the Cutlass Coupe was a bucket seat/floor shift car, and it was the closest thing on the lot at Indian Oldsmobile in Jonesboro Arkansas when he went to buy a car. Dad had just gotten out of the army, had landed a good job with Southwestern Bell, and had to be in Amarillo Texas quickly.
that is one well preserved '72 with 100k miles! $32K worth it, I do not think so but for around $20 he probably finds takers
