We drove the F-100 to the local annual Mustang show. I wanted to wash it up before we left and the boys decided to help. I think they may have gotten more water on themselves and on the ground than they did on the truck...
I awoke to some sad news today. My Grandpa passed away this morning at about 4 AM http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/threads/my-grandpa-charles.46942/ He led a wonderful life and was an inspiration. He will be truly missed.

I read this the other day and thought I responded, so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I am so sorry to read/hear about this. You have had a 1 in a million connection with your grandpa that not many will ever have. I know it hurts but he lives on, with you and every time you turn a key to start those engines... I know he is smiling at you and his great grandkids.
I just saw another pickup almost exactly like your grandpa's, down to the color combo and bumpside trim, here in town. If I see it again, I'll try to get some pics of it to post up. Has your grandfather been laid to rest yet?
Thank you everyone, I appreciate it. It's been a busy week, so this is the first time I've been on in a while. We laid Grandpa to rest today. It was a very wonderful funeral. He was a chief of the volunteer fire department in Kennewick for 30 years. Our local department arrived at the funeral unbeknownst to me in a restored vintage 1940's IH fire engine. That was how Grandpa was transported to the cemetery, followed by the newest engine in the fleet. The local VFW was there with their honor guard for the graveside service. There was a 21 gun salute and the playing of Taps. My brother is in the National Guard, so he was able to present the flag that covered the casket to to my Grandma. I don't know how he kept his composure. I drove the Fury today in honor of Grandpa. All of the family at one point or another told me how much they enjoyed and appreciated seeing the car. I thought it was a fitting tribute. I'm sure Grandpa would agree.
