Nice-looking car, but $10,000? Not a chance. This photo is all you need to see. It's a $5,000 car at best.

Yep it's too bad the underhood...and I'm sure the underside, is not as pretty as the body and interior. Ate age 43 I can still remember when half my friend's parents had 5-6 year old versions of this car back in the 80's. I rode in a ton of them...brings back memories for sure, they were everywhere before being traded for Chrysler minivans, Taurus wagons, and (gulp) Hondas.... I always found it funny that Ford used those GM/Delco A6 compressors on these cars.

This car came out of a barn back in September. The guys cleaned it up and that was it. As I recall, recall they didn't change any of the fluids. The tires that are currently on it are dry rotted. The AC blew cool, but not cold. Everything worked including the clock.

I'm almost positive it sold for $5,000 or less. This guy is a flipper. I seriously doubt he will get that kind of money for it.

They used GM/Saginaw steering, too, and -- on 4 wheel disc cars, GM/Hydroboost power brake booster.

I'm with Jaunty75 on this. $5K tops. It's a base trim Country Squire with a 400 and a pretty good level of options, but not always the top options (no tape player, manual AC instead of ATC) -- nothing to give a significant boost to the price. I think it needs to have a 460 and be in better condition to be anywhere close to 5 figures.

Twin to my 77 colony park. This one has the black bumper trim and the cornering lights I'm lacking. I do have the 460, 8 track and climate control that works flawlessly. Funny thing is the fenders on mine have the cutouts for the cornering lights but are covered by the cp trim. Always on the lookout for those parts.
A good under hood detailing would add a lot to the value of that low mileage wagon.

A good under hood detailing would add a lot to the value of that low mileage wagon. It doesn't have the trailer tow package but it does have the heavy dust suspension.
