I have owned many station wagons throughout my driving career. Started with a 1971 Buick Estate, then a 1980 Olds Custom Cruiser, a 1987 VW Fox 2 door, and a 1992 Buick. For the last 15 years I have owned a 1975 Olds Custom Cruiser which came from the factory with a Pontiac 400 engine. It is a nice and solid western Canadian car with mostly original paint (it has been repainted below the woodgrain). The interior is very nice and untouched other than my minor additions which are tilt steering column, Olds sport steering wheel and functional AM/FM 8 track stereo (a factory 1975 GM unit). Really nice driving old car, it is definitely underpowered with the 400. It is pretty hard on gas as well getting 13 mpg in Canadian gallons, which is just over 10 mpg US. I know I should not complain but I also have a 1975 Buick LeSabre convertible that does much better and has a (Buick) 455. I consider myself lucky to have the wagon as around here they all rusted to pieces or were demo cars. Thanks Mark

Welcome Mark! I grew up in clamshells and MUCH later as an adult was fortunate enough to own a '75 Caprice Estate. It also had a 400. Glad you found us. Looking forward to photos when you can!
