    Man, I like this car.

    As Wagon1 said
I think that's largely what gets me. It's got the look and its got the motor to boot. It'll be interesting to see what it ends up actually selling for.

That's strong $$$$ for a car with rust holes and a cracked dash. It will be interesting to see if it actually sold.

Yep, I think that was too much for that car.

After two weeks, can we assume this 1972 Kingswood Estate 454 sale is legit?

LOL. Not really. I've bought and sold a bunch of cars on fleabay. Sometimes you are waiting a couple weeks for the guy (or gal) to appear with trailer. 4 weeks. If it stays down for 4 weeks, I would expect it sold.

    Guess what... I bought it!
Yes it has rust - it's easy to fix and I plan to fix all of it.
Yes - it's red and a beautiful car. Original window sticker, protecto-plate and all service records came from original owner in Kansas.
Yes - it's a phenomenal 454 that has been tuned and runs like a clock.
Yes - it an original owner car and the 92 year old wife who purchased with her husband just passed in the last year.
Yes - the interior is beautiful black cloth pattern and available at SMS fabrics. Front seat has a tear and it will be fixed.
Yes - this wheels are just not my speed - purchased a beautiful set of 1968-1973 Corvette turbines they used to option back in the day. The original wheels came with the car, as did the original hubcaps (flawless condition after 45 years) and I will sandblast them and paint them black before I put on the turbine vane hubs which will look awesome on this car.
She will be restored to her original glory and the engine bay detailed so she can park next to my......
Yes - frame-on restored 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado finished in Firemist Green and Sandlewood interior and vinyl top.
Paid $10,900.00 for it and it was worth every penny.....it's only worth what the buyer is willing to pay. I will fix this car back to like-new condition and post pics as we go along.
Thanks to all in this club. You guys are great!

It's official! Well done. Sounds like you are going to have a good time restoring it. I am doing the same thing right now with a low mileage 77 Town and Country. All torn apart and going back together like new.

This ad is bogus alright , because that's my former car that I sold to Airdefenz in the previous post. But I'm going to mess with this ad/ person just for using my ebay ad and pictures.

I don't blame you at all. I found it through oodle.com which often has questionable ads.

Every ad on that web site is fake , the same person is selling them and uses former presidents names as the seller. The vehicles can be found on e-bay as sold vehicles . Reporting him or messing with him does no good , because the whole page is fake and he controls the sharing and "report this ad" . John

I posted new pics of the Kingswood on the Media Chevrolet section. I am keeping the former owner up to date on my restoration of the car. It is currently in the shop now with minor rust and body work being addressed. The paint on the car was original and it is largely sanded now down to metal and it is in phenomenal shape. It will be repaired with metal work done where needed, treated with anti-corrosion and primer and repainted Cranberry Red as it came from the factory.
    Making great progress!
