I didn't even get that far with seller:biglaugh:

Apparently he has a lot of interest in the now 2 day old listing so his price is firm, or he will just park it in the backyard..... That's all the info I needed.

    The hunt goes on............................

So who told him he has to get rid of a $1000 car that he spent months spending $4000 on? Who wears the panties in that family? It's a $500 hard to sell body style that only demo derby guys and station wagon rebuilders might want to offer $1000 for.
I'd guess that the radiator and tranny cooler are original, tune up consisting of draining and refilling with new fluids. The radiator overflow bottle has not been tuned up and most likely the freeze plugs and upper hose gooseneck are from 1977. If the engine had a recent tune up why change the oil after buying it? An after market radio can be bought at the junk yard for $25 but won't be needed once the running gear are mercilessly ripped out.
I'd leave my name number and $1000 cash offer.:stirthepot:

Well, make him an offer and leave your phone number. Mention that big old heavy four door sedans are not what people are looking for.
