1991-1993 had a throttle body fuel injection system. The motors were basically the same as every previous chevy small block. 1994-1996 got the Lt1 for the wagons as standard and only option. The Caprice sedans got the "baby LT1" as standard and the 350 LT1 as optional. The Buick Roadmaster sedan got the 350 LT1 and so did the Cadillac Fleetwood Broughams of the same year.

They are pretty much the same motor ad the corvette of that generation aside from less power and iron heads and probably one or two other small things.

I fairly recently sold a 1994 Caprice Wagon that developed a big oil leak. Was coming from the oil filter. Sold it because I didn't want to deal with it and it was too rusty to justify keeping for me.

And the fan shroud is the exact same as was in my wagon and it didn't have the tow package.

I got my 93 Caprice wagon just because it was the last year for the regular 350 and I really don't like the LT1. Water pumps above the "don't get it wet" optispark never made me feel too confident. People talk about the power difference but my TBI 350 has plenty of power, probably because it has the 3:23 ratio posi rear end.

I see your '93 shows in your signature line as a "past" car. I recall when you had it up for sale. Will you be buying another wagon?

Glide, my signature line has now been amended to show that I am currently driving that 93 Caprice wagon. I got a full time job and can't sell the wagon unless I get another car as a daily driver which won't be for awhile. I am a photographer for Manheim auto auctions in Riverside, Ca and more than occasionally get to move a few exotics (Rolls, Bentley, Ferrari, Maserati) around the lot, mostly 2012 and newer ordinary cars with less than 30,000 miles on them. After doing that I get back in the wagon to drive home and the miles on the car just reach out and slap me in the face to remind me how many are on it!

Got it. Cool sounding job! I know you've had some frustrations with the wagon (thank you CA), but I hope you're still managing to enjoy it too. You know what they say here in CA: "You gotta love what you drive". ;)
