I like it. Maybe not so much the steering wheel but it is not my car nor my money spent on it. If everyone liked the same car we would all have the same car.
That's a very clean looking wagon. Looks like it's in great shape. And I love the color combo, it just screams '70s. The wheels/tires aren't to my taste. Although, I do kinda like the lowered stance, just not that much. Throw on some different wheels, raise it up a little (easy enough to do with bags) and I'd be happy with it.
"Had all the emissions deleted" Not a selling point. Although I'm assuming the NE has emissions testing and checks that emissions equipment is still there.
Cars of the late 70s ran like crap because of emissions. in Mass they only check ob2 cars, as long as it does not smoke old cars are ok.
I'm not sure how it is in other states but in Pennsylvania if it's old enough (however old that is) it doesn't need emissions tested. Some counties here don't require emission testing either. *Edit* I mean that even for new cars emission testing isn't required in some counties.
Like 101Volts stated, similar to metro Atlanta, anything older than 25 years old doesn't get inspected at all, not even to see if the original equipment is still there. Since he had it removed, my guess is they have something similar.
