    That was fan-effing-tastic! I could never do as good a job as you did! I agree that the Opti-Spark should've been addressed; it's so rare on cars like this to have an easy job on a normally difficult procedure. But money is money, and if it's not there, you just can't get blood from a stone. Here's to not only many more years of Willy the White Whale plying the asphalt oceans, but also bringing more trophies home.

    I wish I'd had the funds to do the Opti then, but I've been scratching together pennies to do the nicest repairs possible on the car...and knock-wood, the Opti works fine. I smile at it and tell it how much I like it every time I open the hood... :)

    Daylight pick of the re-painted roof-rack and polished 91-93 sliding rack rail (I like these polished low-profile racks a lot better than the tall black SUV-type rack the 94-96 Roady wagons got).

    5/13/2016 - Friday the 13th, just picked the car up from paint polishing and a/c re-charge. It took 5-months but the Roadmaster Deer-Wreck Repairs are NOW COMPLETE. She shines and a/c is throwning snowballs. The car is now nicer than it's ever been in all the time I've owned it.

    Much nicer by far,
    No stag's gonna take it down;
    Whale bests deer anytime!

    Rare right-brain functioning on my part...

    ...And I still didn't get it right the first time!

    December 21, 2015 / December 21, 2016. Took a lot of work to repair the Bambi damage, but my Roady is better than ever one year later.

    Thanks to all my car-friends that helped locate parts and turned a wrench to bring her back. Had to drive it to work today! Stopped on the way to take the pic below. Stay Safe and Happy Holidays All!

    Amazing stuff, as always Mike!
    I agree completely on the look of those 91-93 roof rack rails. I've been itching to pick some of those up myself.
    I was so hoping that you were going to faux woodgrain your trim but there's certainly nothing disappointing about the outcome!
    Great work!

    What a difference one year can make!
    I'm glad it was a good "anniversary"
    Keep on enjoying your beautiful Buick Mike. I always look forward to seeing your latest adventure.
