Wow that's pretty. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1990-Mercur...RK-/141967498015?_trksid=p2141725.m3641.l6368
Same color as mine, same year. This one looks to be in shape closer to new than mine actually, the main difference from the factory between mine and this one is this one has the heated windshield. Mine was repainted too and the tailgate is rusty on the sides at the bottom.
I actually saw this car in person today. The owner is a collector and has this car stored in a warehouse. It is immaculate, like it just rolled off the showroom floor and it has every option available. It's originally an east coast car but there's not a speck of rust on it. It must have always been garaged. Normally I would shy away from a car originally from the east coast but not this one. If I had a garage to keep it in I would buy it and sell mine. I would actually be afraid to drive it, it's so nice.
The auction hasn't ended yet, it's ending at 10 PM EST. Still... Oh and I like this quote from the end of the description: "I'd have no hesitation putting my mother in this car and setting her off on a cross country trip."
I didn't think it would go that high. Now, let's see if the bidder is a buyer. If the car resurfaces in the next week or two, well...
