OK, I know this is hard to answer without seeing it in person and more details (such as the condition of the frame, brake lines, just how bad the rust on the floor is, etc.). But here is what I know so far about the car:

    - 390 V8
    - disc brakes
    - aluminum rad
    - has not been on the road for past three years, but is running
    - parts of the interior are out, as can be seen from the pics
    - seller was about to install air bag suspension before suspending the project

    Pics are here.

I'm not going to give a price. But it looks decent and there are a lot of nice newer parts with it. Whatever seems fair for you and the seller.

One thing you should know; that is not a 1968. That is either a 1965 or 1966. Someone will know for sure.

You are correct WO, it's a '66. Don't know why I typed '68. Fat fingers probably.

The biggest issue to look for would be with the frame. If that is OK, and if it were me - I'd say 3000.00 where it sits. If you look closely, it really isn't in that bad of shape. And if it's factory discs, those are Kelsey-Hayes 66 & 67 only - kind of a rare option in 66.

I like it and I'd be all over it, but I think I'd chuck the chrome rocker covers and go au naturale....

I collect images of 66 Fords, and it seems like it looked good at one time. Perhaps the Canadian winters had their way with it.

I think this is a question of supply/demand. Supply of '60s era cars is limited in Ontario. I can't say whether demand is as high for '60s cars in Ontario as it is in the U.S. Probably not.

$CDN 6,500 for this car ($US 4,850 at current exchange rates) might be high for a car in this condition in Arizona or the Southern U.S. where more of these cars survived. Maybe not that bad for Ontario where they're scarcer.

I'd find $CDN 6,500 hard to justify for this car, based on what I've seen so far. If I go look at it (5+ hour round trip for me, and I hate driving on the 401 these days) I'll report back. If it isn't sold by the time I get to look at it. ;)
