He's a pompous ass! Plain and Simple. I say this because "I know what I am doing." I also say this because "the time is right for me." If this makes him unhappy, he "should let go."

His grammar makes him sound like a Nigerian scammer.

The seller has issues. It sounds like he wants to sell the car overseas and score big $.

His ad doesn't indicate you can't go see the car. Has anyone actually tried to go see?

Looks like English is second language for him. Why do we even care here? Was anyone really interested in buying it at that price? I think it's time we let "Gerry or Stanly" go here. Nothing for us to see here. None of us are gonna get it, kinda like the cars we talk about - "Oh, I'm restoring it someday" type of car. I've noticed recently we've become pretty critical of ads on cars that we're obviously never going to buy - myself included. It's maddening! Why worry about it?

Yes. I did. A couple of days prior to driving down to southern California in December, 2014, I called the number listed in the ad then, leaving my call back #. 'Gerry' called me back when I was on I-5 in the San Joaquin Valley south of Sacramento, on the drive down. Said the wagon wouldn't be available for viewing until January (the next month...).

Wow, what an asswagon! Pun intended.

Did you ask him why the disparity in pricing? $14.5K to $8,500 and back to $14.5K sounds pretty arrogant, in and of itself.

"Gerry or Stanly" - does he not know which one he is?

If he wants no advice, grant him his wish.

Never trust a man who spells Jerry with a "G" or Stanley without an "E".

Yeah, but it's more fun than the 2016 election discussions everywhere!

The seller will have it for ten more years. I've seen that many times where a seller won't budge., won't show the car, asks far too much, you name it.

Yeah, but the problem with that is you have to deal with these two yahoos to get it. That's bound to put off almost everybody.
