$12,000? I don't know about that. For $12,000, I'd expect to be able to fill the gas tank above the 1/2 full mark,
have a working fuel gauge and A/C, be able to open the front passenger door from the outside and be able to open both of the rear doors.

The remaining issues are:

Fuel tank leaks when filled above the halfway mark
Fuel gauge doesn't register properly -- probably needs a new float on the sending unit
One front door (passenger side) doesn't open from the outside
One rear door doesn't open at all
Headliner is torn in 3 or 4 places and while largely intact, should be replaced

The car is covered by a Hagerty Guaranteed Value endorsement of $12000, and that's the amount I'm looking for in order to let it go.

Maybe seller should let Hagerty buy it............

 

He's suffering from BJ syndrome. Phoenix area Craigslist is full of high price classics this week due to the auctions being in town. Every year cars come out of the woodwork during the auctions.

 

You guys are just too picky. It's only $12,000.
