Kinda neat...... not for me, though. Being a sort of 'old guy', but not that old. 1954 is where I draw the line between 'modern' cars and 'old' cars in my head. 1954 - old, 1955 - modern. I believe both Fords and Chevys were substantially all-new for '55.
54 is actually pretty good year in the Ford ,almost the same chassis as a 55 54 Ford is first year for ball joints and OHV valve engine 239 cid same has the previous flat head 239 cid .
