Yet another big block wagon that's beyond fixing. Nice options, amazing that these still exist...figure the engine would have been yanked years ago. Almost had some hope until seeing the interior shot. Guess the guy wants to keep it at that price! http://www.ebay.com/itm/321736343560
Eh, it could be restored if someone had enough $. Finally, one with A/C and 3rd seat... also power windows are a nice touch.
Some pretty hard to find parts on that thing. We looked for a loooooong time before we found cruise for our '67 Biscayne. This also has the difficult to find these days kick panel speakers. Also has am/fm with the 8 track player and multi-plexer. I don't know if I've ever seen a remote mirror control.
What a mess!!!!! I bet someone grabs it though that has deep pockets and can either do a lot of the restore themselves or has connections! Those doo dads on either end of the back bumper................were those optional rubber padded steps used to reach the luggage racks? Seems like I've seen those on one or 2 other '68 wagons? Is that a factory stereo 8 track hiding behind steering wheel in that one picture??
If it was only $2500.00 I may think about it....would cost another $1000.00 or so to get it home though. I saw those steps also on another 68 wagon. I think they may have been an option but can't confirm that yet.
KK will be along soon and get out all the factory brochures he picked up at car shows over the years and maybe confirm the steps were an option!
