    Not to be left out, Pontiac also introduced rectangular headlamps in 1975 on its high-end cars. They were available on the Grand Ville, Bonneville, and Safari wagons, but not the Catalina.

    It's interesting that, out of the four GM makes, only Pontiac featured rectangular headlights on its clamshell wagon in 1975. The other three retained the round lights for that year.

    the red 225 features the 15" 5x5 Buick Rallye/Magnum 500s - made of unobtanium.

    On that big car, would those have been 15x6 or 15x7? Does that 1975 Buick brochure list the wheel specification?

    Yes it does. Standard tires were steel-belted radial blackwalls, JR78-15. Available option was steel-belted radial whitewalls, same size. Wheel size is 15 x 6.00.

    He sure does like it, at that price it's not surprising to see he still has it.

    On the mold front, while it is an issue, if it was going to the desert area I wouldn't think twice or care. I don't live in SoCal or W. Texas anymore, so I have been fighting the mold issue on some cars. I have remediated several cars that ended up with mold as a hidden "bonus" and it can be kept in check and reduced (I had "mushrooms" in one car). Regular driving with functional air conditioning helps keep the interior dry and drastically cuts any potential mold out. Obviously the solution to get rid of it entirely is to strip down the ENTIRE interior and replace ALL of the fabrics and foams and bleach the heck out of the wiring and metal. Let's not kid ourselves, mold is a serious issue but with proper precautions and cleaning can be kept in check. I sure wouldn't fate this car to the scrap pile or parts car status solely because it has some leftover mildew\mold issues.

    If it's in the headliner that's gonna need stripped out (insulation and all) and replaced. Doesn't matter where it came from all my vehicles I drive in the winter get the carpet/padding completely removed. And replaced with rubber mats and add carpet in all of the "i can see it" floor areas. Most sellers don't realize that if you have mold it can and will make family members sick and if they have allergies it could KILL them. So cleaning out the mold to sell by covering or masking it can be a VERY bad thing. Also it gets in the padding in the firewall, between the dash and firewall. A lot of people don't even THINK about that one.
