    It does look pretty good, and it is a good price.

    How about finding a wheelcover for that one wheel? Or, before you take that photo, move a wheelcover over from the other side. Makes a big difference in the car's appeal.

    Those are the wheelcovers I had on my '83...I lost one screeching around a tight 35 MPH corner at 55 MPH. I know it happened because halfway through the turn, I hear "tingting tingtingting tingting ting ting_______________." Yes, moving one over helps the appeal, but it's hard to explain why it's missing after a potential buyer shows up.

    I agree it would look better with all wheel covers, known as hub caps to us old farts. But I'd rather know it's missing than find out later.
    Still not a deal breaker if the rest is nice as the wagon looks at $3500.:yup:
    The Buddy Holley tape is worth $100.

    I agree - I like the colors in and out on this Mercury very much. Looks like seller might have a promising Mark III there in the background as well.

    Wheelcovers fill the entire exterior volume of the wheel, hence the name.

    Hubcaps cover the hub, or center section of the wheel. hence THAT name.

    The difference is pretty easy to sort out, really.
