I picked the car up Wednesday and put in the garage. Trying to leave it alone until I finish some other projects.

I like that model of Malibu. You can't leave it alone. The weather is too nice to leave it in the garage.

I know, but I need to get some things done around the house. I want to get the engine and transmission changed and get it roadworthy by spring. Planning on heading west on Route 66.

Sounds like a good plan. We've traveled pieces of Rt 66 over the years, mostly in the midwest. Love to do the complete modified route in something.

That's pretty! Congratulations. :) We used to have one like that years ago, it was hubby's work wagon. Good luck with the waiting. Welcome aboard.
