    The car is pretty much a mess, but at least he's honest about it. He mentions rust in the floorboards and rear quarters, and he ain't kiddin'.

    The car also has that weird salt-water chromatography thing going up the sides of the woodgrain as thought it has been in a flood, which I doubt. Probably just from sitting in the sun for many years.


    It most certainly is. However, it has not gotten so hard yet that one would have to settle for this car. His $1300 price is steep for the condition. This is a $500 car, and he'd be lucky to find someone willing to give him that much for it.

    This would make a good parts car for the really nice 1976 Malibu Classic wagon that is in Washington state. The rusty one has the 3 rd seat assembly and the rear quarter windows and a luggage rack....
