Gee, I wonder why that bed sheet is on top of the dash?

And I know EXACTLY where 'Romoland' is........

Is $3500 a good price on a sun baked Squire?

I would say it depends on how it runs and drives. If it runs and drives good, I would say yes.

Yes, we'll hope the sheet on the dash is just for sun protection (speculation). The rest of interior looks very good. If the exterior just needs wood, it is a good Squire for the price.

Still available. If it just needs exterior wood, this could be a good wagon. Paint could be buffed out. Rust should not be an issue for a SoCal car.

I'd bet this one will clean up. Nice interior and probably a nice dash. Even a sheet to sleep under in the back while driving it east.
Keep in mind these vehicles will need tires, fluids, and a tune up. Far better than an east coast rust bucket.

The ad is on the "Inland Empire" craigslist, and that refers to Riverside County east of Los Angeles. A quick google search reveals that Romoland, California is a small town on I-215 about 12 miles west of Hemet, California and about 75 miles east of Los Angeles.

As I've said in other threads, you can't blame craigslist if you aren't familiar with the name of a town. Craigslist is NOT intended as a national selling forum, but rather is supposed to be like the classified ads in your local paper. Everyone who lives around Romoland knows exactly where it is. The rest of us have to use a few of the neurons God gave us to figure it out. It isn't difficult.

I would drive through there once in a while for work, and always gave myself a little chuckle, since my bosses' last name was............Romo.

Is it possible for the wood trim to become so bleached in six years of sitting outdoors? The paint I can understand, but the tailgate in particular looks like more that half a decade of wear.
