agreed on the wheel covers;I would also paint the hood in the body color and leave the roof as done black
I agree with the wheel covers, but I would also add white walls, then it would be all dressed up. Jim
Like the one my dad had, almost. My family had 1963 Buick wagon real similar to this one when I was growing up from about 1969 to 1978. The family took a three week vacation in 1971 from WI to NM up through CO over to SD and back. It became a real rust pile though. My dad would pop rivet aluminum house siding patches over the rusted out panels and seal the joints with roof cement. On the tailgate, when the power window motor channels and guides had long rusted away and could not hold up the glass, he drilled a hole in the top of the glass and put on a trunk hasp, complete with padlock for security. In 1976 we painted it red , white and blue with a brush and a Sears general purpose spray gun for the nation's Bicentennial. The gas filler door was done in white stars on a blue background. One night, around the fourth of July, we got in free at the local circle jerk track races because of the paint job. We even got to go on a parade lap on the track. When the transmission got really weak, we parked it in the backyard and then towed it to the junk yard a year later. Great memories. Anyone want the front bumper, grille and headlight bezels, (FREE), they are not perfect but my dad still has them in the basement.

Yes, some of us have good taste in vehicles. We have to remember these are old cars and compared to what late models go for are really priced fair for the most part. Hubcaps, wheels and tires are easy to swap and we all like different types. Plus paint is only skin deep, a rattle can or roller away from your favorite color.
