    I agree, it's a fine wagon. I wrote a check and it's still bouncing!;)

Reminds me of one of my favorite Tom Slick cartoon lines:

One digit too many in the price.

It is beautiful. Great colour, fantastic condition and low mileage. Those are the pluses. The big minus, as far as being with that price, is the lack of options. To be in that price range, it needs most of not all the power options, and maybe even a more deluxe interior. My thinking is this should be more like a $10,000 wagon, at the top end, and probably nearer 8.

I agree that it is not "loaded out". No power windows and no plush, pillow-like deluxe interior. The black seat belts do not help either, they make it look more like a Chevy, ouch. But it has the 455, the third seat, AC and the roof rack. It is far from a stripper. I don't even think I have ever seen a Buick wagon with the top of the line interior, other than in the 1972 wagons brochure, not even "back in the day". And remember, A/C equipped cars were still a big deal back in the early 1970's. I believe all Buick full size wagons came with a power tailgate.

As for the asking price: most all offers are welcome, and like most people, I would rather ask a higher price when first putting it up for sale.

Thanks for complimenting on the color, even though I was never a big fan of it, I kind of like that shade of brown now.
