Im working on re-organizing the station wagon garage and thought about creating categories for the garages. Would these four categories cover it? Or should I add a "Other Station Wagons" category for exceptions? Thanks. American Station Wagons Asian Station Wagons (Japanese and Korean) Australian Station Wagons European Station Wagons (Would include Ford, Chrysler, etc of Europe)
I'd make the first category "North American Station Wagons," as there are a sufficient number of differing types from Canada and Mexico to be included and differentiated.
2 categories would do it for me, chrome bumpers and plastic bumpers. Maybe a 3rd for 'major custom' since it seems a lot of people are into that type of look. I like seeing and comparing the wagons from different world regions and don't think splitting them up would lend itself to that very well.
I dont have enough info to differentiate between countries. Ill look into adding an attribute to further filter garages. I could add an attribute like stock, modified, custom.
I could add an attribute like stock, modified, custom. __________________ I lke that idea. Other than that your idea sounds good.
My apologies, I guess I wasn't that clear on what I suggested. What I meant was that all North American wagons would be in the first category.
A little input may it only be 2bobs worth , but ill give it a go . so SWF is worldwide and we present to all a common interest in longroofs wether stock, modified or custom lets share them all in a simple format . question what category should I fall into if you go by country and brand as I have a 65 Country Sedan RHD Aussie delivered by Ford factory and 60 Mercury Country Commuter built in California soon to have some minor mods . Wagonmaster you do a great job so whatever is decide is fine enjoy what life has to offer
I see your point Dennis. I'm not sure why we need different categories. Also I agree with whatever changes we get with the format and everything. Seems like most groups are changing formats, maybe to help, maybe to confuse old people! Dennis.
Thanks Dennis The '65 would fall under the Australian Station Wagons category and if the '60 was built for the US market, then it would fall under the American Station Wagons category.
Everyone will get a chance to test drive the new format before converting. Ill also have user guides on how to use the new features.
ModelT1 , I feel the only reason we maybe be confused is we have already experienced more and learnt to apply common sense to most situations were we asked our family, friends , work mates for advice and made decisions accordingly. without the need to Google the answers so you may over analyse every conceivable situation before you go forward in life. anyway its time for be dam nice if people said Hello to one another or actually new their neighbour how would that be share some longroof stories over a BBQ From Down Below
Another popular old car site went thru changes. Many complained. Now it operates smoothly and I don't even notice the changes. Same with Windows 8 and so on. We adapt. Okay pass the
