It's mint all right but the colors could not be more hideous - truly wretched. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mint-1979-M...MACULATE-/361322598407?_trksid=p2054897.l4275
Reminds me of a story an old car guy told me about when he worked at the local Tacoma, WA Buick dealership in the early Sixties; Somehow, someone ordered a Wildcat painted Salmon and Seafoam Green for dealer stock (he thinks someone pencil%&ked themselves when filling out the order card or the keypunch operator keyf%&ked themselves typing the info in). In order to have a chance of selling it, he had the paint shop repaint a couple places on the body from Salmon to Seafoam, then eventually hooked someone near closing time, when the sky was darkening, and got it sold 7 months later. He said the guy was back the next day to b!tch about the fact he was sold such an ugly car; George told the guy, "You had all the time in the world to look at the car, and if you were in doubt, you could've had us move it under the yard lamps."
