Took a fair amount of pictures at the Ford show at Carlisle over the weekend. Over 1600 pictures to go through in three photo albums for those who like Fords. I skipped Most of the cars that were newer than mid 70's, but did take a few pics of newer cars. That means I skipped most of the Mustangs and still got a boat load of pictures. Newer (80's to present) Mustangs account for more than half of the cars that at the show. Album 1 documenting my travels through the vendors, car corral, show field, and special displays on Friday, and my buddy setting up his tent at a nearby campground. I chose to stay in a hotel. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/...073741976.100001111775214&type=1&l=c99a790cdf Album 2 pictures from the first half of Saturday. It rained Friday night into Saturday morning, so we got a late start looking at cars. This album has alot of older Mustangs, Cougars, Thunderbirds, and trucks, and alot of other cars too. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/...073741977.100001111775214&type=1&l=690f877d46 Album 3 pictures from Saturday afternoon. This album starts with a station wagon section, but only some of the wagons in the show were in this class. Others could be seen in Fairlane, Torino, Falcon, Pinto classes etc. Also in this album are pictures from the beauty contest and the burnout contest. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/...41978.100001111775214&type=1&l=517b04e4f3Here Here are some of the wagons you'll see in the albums. Go to the links to see more pictures of these and others.
Thanks. This is the only way I can enjoy a car show now. If I had a choice I'd take the one with chrome bumpers parked in the grass. And the other one wearing the little bikini!
Which one in the bikini? There were a few to choose from. Here are a few more of the ones with chrome bumpers parked in the grass.
Those are some great looking station wagons. Too bad someone didn't put a "Station Wagon Forums" card in their windows. What is this? Looks decent and rare.
That was (is) a 56 Ford Taunus. A German Ford vehicle. I really liked the way the rear widows pivoted outwards when opened. Oldmics
I knew I recognized that. Same one that was on ebay earlier this year. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=34931&highlight=taunus
