    That's seems to be a great price for it's condition.

    A 66 would not have had the 413 from the factory. If it hasn't been changed it's probably a 383 or 440.

    Oh, hell, no.

    '65 = 413. '66 = 440.

    Only way to find out is a VIN verification. It's entirely possible that could've been built in late '65 as a '66 but still built with a 413.

    Possible, but very unlikely, as the 413 was not available in "C"-body Mopars in 1966. And, they did NOT just "use up" engines from the previous model year, especially if that engine were being discontinued.

    WTF. Must be one of those rare Chevy/Chrysler hybrids.

    Chevy/Chrysler, what the heck, they are near each other in the automotive alphabet. Anyway, RB (Raised Block) ≠ BB (Big Block).

    I worked for GM back in 1970, at the GMAD plant in Van Nuys, CA. We would take any surplus components and savage them before placement in dumpsters. Savage- not salvage- sledgehammers on brand new wheels, radios, whatever was left over that would have been used on the previous year's production vehicles. Seemed like a total waste to a po' boy like me. These items could have been put into the parts system or something. I expect that that cost may have been prohibitive, or something.

    Yes, RB DOES = Big block with Chryslers. A quick refresher on Chrysler big block engines:

    "B" block = 350, 361, 383B, 400
    "RB" = 383RB, 413, 426W, 440

    ALL of these are big block engines. Every day.

    There are TWO 383 engines - the "RB" engine from 1958 - 1959. The "B" 383 was from 1960 - 1971.
