    That's like a new wagon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:1st:
I can understand changing fluids. We are going thru this with two of my own cars.
Still does that mean this 460 can't be started to listen to the engine?
A lot of money to gamble.
Seems like spending $100 to have it done and raise the price a few hundred would be smart.

I think not. I am not buying a car for 10 grand that is supposed to be in such good shape without starting and driving it. Sounds fishy to me. That or the guy is just a tool.

Why would the seller state you have to haul it off and not drive it - not currently registered?

It is. Now it has 216,000 miles on it and needs an oil change since your dad had it.

Could be, it had 85k on when he traded it for a new T-Bird in November of 79. His had a 400 and a split bench seat though.

For ten grand, the seller NEEDS to change all the damn fluids himself and ensure a buyer could fly in and drive home!!! Really, bring a trailer or dolly??? What a jackwagon.

If it were mine I would go through it get it running well and then mark up the price. Seems like a really nice wagon! And it does look like 16,000 miles. Makes no sense with such a nice vehicle to say come tow it away

I understand with a car that needs too much work to just bail out of it, but with one this nice IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE to spend a little time and money to get it running great. As mentioned above more than once, one could easily raise the price even higher for a low milage, TURN KEY car.

Could be an old guy who's finicky about his car but doesn't want to be bothered changing the fluids or starting 'er up. He wants his baby towed away, not driven.

    Now get off my lawn!
