"The only minor issues: the carb. has a small leak, it will need new tires soon, and the paint has some minor fading and scratches."

For that kind of money, I would expect it to have new tires, less fading and scratches and a carb that doesn't leak. It is a nice one-owner car, but the price seems high.

Concur. Also I'd expect better pictures of the overall condition of the car, there's quite a few places where rust could be lurking in the back and tailgate area that decent pictures would show.

I agree. Nice looking wagon and several photos. But nothing up close to show any defects.
That large RV door amazes me.

That seems very steep. I have a 1977 CS with a 460 and 62k original miles, in similar condition. It was $1,900. Granted it wasn't running at the time, but after a new ignition module and about $600 worth of TLC (including a new pre-1972 timing set and Edelbrock carb.) it runs very nicely. The only drawback is that the rear bumper reinforcement bar became the home of rodents for a time and has completely disintegrated. I'm trying desperately to find another, but these are extremely scarce.

If you want to $ you need more and better pictures. The chassis is where I like to start determining the condition of a vehicle. Along with bottom of doors and tailgate...

Did I blink? Didn't the price come down by about $2K from the first time I saw this listing just a couple of days ago?

True, 68K miles is considered low by today's standards. By those of 1977, it may not have been excessively high, but it was not inconsiderable either.

Also, besides all the other points that have been made in this post, it seems a bit light on the options for the price. Shouldn't it have the Landau Luxury Group

I know a couple who paid this kind of money for this era Country Squire, but it had a 460 and was near mint.

With the price reduction (or did I imagine it?), it seems the seller is no longer shooting for the moon, but it does seem he's trying to reach the ISS.

Maybe there's some significant haggle room built into that price.

Looks like there has been a $1300 price reduction. Maybe the seller is coming around. He's still got a ways to go. Just my opinion.

Looks like a nice wagon for 8K.
