"Shipped up from California this year!"

Might be a decent-enough wagon, but don't believe anything until you see it.
And from what I can see, it's a $4k wagon at best.

My reply to that was.... I am interested as to how the same tag was on a cougar in a recent ad. No need in talking to you if you use the same tag on all the cars you sell....

I would say he is a little upset with you.
Not as upset as the guy who bought the Cougar however.

and I care... I replied he didn't know me, but had my name and if he would google it, he would see I could buy pretty much any car he was selling on craigslist, but that I didn't deal with crooks.
I also told him I found it interesting he registered Cali tags in Detroit, didn't know you could do that and surely he registered them if he was actually driving them or otherwise that would be illegal. :)

Just received my reply. I am amazed at how some folks can lie.

"I still have the black plate for the Cougar it is really nice (mint) so I kept it .. this plate is from the Wagon ,but I'm keeping the plates unless you are in Calf. and can re-register it ,it's expired now anyways . But sometimes I use plates on other cars to take them up for gas up and short test drives and don't really pay attention I guess I'll take them off my cars, if it causes confusion"

    The plate is mint?
