Hey everybody. Glad to be here. I may be the owner of a 1970 Cutlass Cruiser tomorrow. The lady said that if she doesn't get a better price by tomorrow evening then I can have it at the price that we discussed when I looked at the car on Saturday. I've never had a station wagon before but I have wanted one for a long time. Anyways, I'm here to ask some questions so I will find the right forum and ask away.:pub:

And you would also be the owner of a one-of-a-kind vehicle. :)

Not to nitpick here, but then, what's life without nitpicking?

There was no such thing as "Cutlass Cruiser" in 1970. Assuming you do not have a Vista Cruiser, the flat-roof Cutlass wagons during the era of the raised-roof Vista Cruiser were called simply "Cutlass Station Wagon." Nothing else. Not Cutlass Cruiser. Not Cutlass flat-top. Just Cutlass Wagon or Cutlass Station Wagon.

It was 1974, when the Vista Cruiser still existed in name but was just a shadow of what it was in its glory days that Olds first combined the words "Cutlass" and "Cruiser" into one model name, and it was actually the Cutlass Supreme Cruiser.

Here's a page out of the '74 Olds brochure.

Here's the page out of the '70 Olds brochure showing the flat-top wagon. Note the name given in the caption below the red car in the middle on the left.
