I wonder how many wagons were made in that finish for that year, or if it's a custom-job. It looks nice, IMHO.
That's the color of the "Family Truckster" in "Vacation", so it was around for a few years, anyway. I like it.
Ford had a couple lite greens back then, the exorcist vomit green as above and lite but darker shade of metallic green witch the truckster sported, clearly not the same colours.
Huh, nice to hear it's an actual factory finish. Thanks. I thought of it to be some sort of a toothpaste color.
One for the 'Odd photo department'....... Guy taking a pic to put in his Craig's List ad. Some unknown guy, walking through the shot. Father? Uncle? Idiot B-I-L? Seller doesn't wait for guy to clear the viewfinder....... :banghead3:
I drove a rental 505 sedan in Germany back in 1990, for a few days. It was a turbo, but with the manual trans. It was actually fairly impressive in the way it handled and drove. If this wagon had more along the lines of 50K - 75K miles on it (and had the parts car to go with), I'd be inquiring.
