With the updated pictures, you can see now it is a 1972.

The current seller certainly knew what he had found on CL - previous owner obviously did not know what he had. Looks like it probably was still with the original family. Lots of documentation. The options on these 1970s cars are always interesting. :) Power windows & locks and A/C, but no remote control mirror. (And the trade-in was a 1970 El Camino.) (And based on the handwritten odometer recordings, this wagon has seen virtually no use since 2005.)

Talk about worth a "bump" in the threads, this current seller found this awesome looking and well optioned Kingswood Estate at just $5900 on CL! No telling what he actually got it for! What a looker! (y)

:wow:Best looking 72 Chevy we have seen come up imho.

Have a look back in the thread and I predicted that the seller may not know what they had either!
    .
And if if I said it once before, these are a sharp looking wagon in white, especially with the wood.:thumbs2:

Sorry guys this is a 13-15k car all day every day

I especially like the "two tone" inside passenger door panel. That's a rare option.

    Much agreed, Mike. :yup:

This is a beautiful Chevrolet wagon, and the original owner family had no idea what they had!

The current owner knows this is a jewel!

Try to restore a well optioned 1970s GM clamshell wagon for that price. You'll likely spend as much if not even more, not to mention the time and effort involved. This 1972 is pretty much a time capsule. If all it really does need is a new gas gauge and clock, it's a fine deal. And given current seller has only $5900 (or possibly less in it) and you likely could get it for even less. We've certainly seen other mint clamshells in this price range before.

I would give him $8,000 for it right now. It's a 12,000 car all day long
