I have been looking for parts for my '55 and have came across a lot of chrome plated tailgate trim. The tailgate trim currently on my '55 has a black insert running down the center. I was just seeing if anyone has any information on this type of trim. I have not seen them anywhere else online. Thanks
Just guessing. But I don't remember any black inserts on the tailgate bars. I really like your custom rear bumper.
Looks like someone replaced the original trim with aftermarket bodyside moldings. The correct trim is available repro.
I almost added aftermarket plastic chrome to my 55 handyman tailgate because most people call it a Nomad.
