Hello everyone, I recently found this forum and look forward to participating. There's no doubt a wagon is a car of many uses...I've carried loads of people and tons of stuff with them over the years. There has been at least one station wagon in our daily driver fleet for over 30 years. The first was a '71 Ford Custom 500, followed by a '72 Torino, several '73 and '76 Plymouths, a '77 Impala , '89 Pontiac Safari, and our current 2005 Taurus. Every one of them was dependable and roomy. Harold
Welcome to the forum. Great introduction. Reading it should help other new members understand our love for station wagons.
hello harold , any relation to the famous Harolds deli in raritan center? just kidding welcome was just in wildwood, keansburg, and west orange last week
Thanks, everyone, for the hellos. Every time I load something big into my wagon, I think about what a hassle it would be for someone trying to carry the same thing with a small car. I even carried a spinet piano that was 250 miles from home in my '71 Custom 500 wagon. It made the wagon a little low in the tail, but otherwise no ill effects.
