Because of all the hosing and glass, this is either a moonshine runner, a portable hemp greenhouse or both, methinks
Very nice! I have never seen one like that, especially the glass back! I like the hose-reels and folding ladders (or stretchers) on the roof! Thansk for sharing!!!
For those who don't need privacy. I guess, if any 16 year old were to borrow his dad's car looking like that, he shouldn't expect to be weaving on the road, during a broad daylight date Is that to imply that it's a vehicle only Hosers could adore?
1941 Horch 853 Sport Cabriolet. Definitely a custom job for whatever fire department ordered it up. In 1941, Germany was into the second year of war. With all that chrome and such, it would've had to have been built as a convertible for someone highly placed in the Nazi party, somehow survived the War, and got converted to the present state later on. A beautiful car, no matter what. Look at the door windows and the windshield up to the header, and then look at the roof and the roofline itself, and you can see where this was added later. Now, compare the above car to another '41 Horch 853a cabriolet. The fire wagon either has a LOT of custom bodywork involved, or it's incorrectly identified in that original link as a '41 Horch 853...

The V-12 would be a possibility: https://www.google.nl/search?q=Rhei...12-Motor%2Fn404481%2F5%3Fpanorama%3D1;938;704 But, unlikely. Those fenders look more Opel than anything connected with luxury The license plates are at least genuine Dutch. The vehicle itself could have been donated by Foo Fighters or other outter space aliens, for all we know
