Any pictures of the completed project? I assume it's completed by now or at least further along.

I'm sorry to say it's not painted yet. All the metal work is done ,the doors are on and it been primed and blocked twice. All thats left is bolting on the fenders and hood, prime and block one last time and paint. But it's been that way for about a year. My bodyman closed his shop and moved the car to his dads garage last fall and its sat there waiting. He's since went to work for someone else and says he's going to get back on it till it's done. Nothing so far. As for pics I have some on photobucket but don't remember how to put them here. If there's any interest I'll try and post some this week. Tony

Are you going to paint it the original two-tone? What is it, aqua/white? I have an aqua wagon that's been sitting in my driveway for years because another project is taking up the garage.

I love it when someone can do metal work to that level themselves. I'll be you have quite the job satisfaction level.

I'd like to take credit for the metal work ,but I can't. I have a good body man that did the work. I did most of the disassembly and I'll do most of the assembly but paint and body work is beyond my skill level.

some progress has been made, the body has been assembled and the gaps are being adjusted to better than new.All the little things are being checked so maybe in a week or two she'll finally see paint. I have some pics but can't figure out how to post them.I'll ask one of the kids this weekend to help out.

I spent a lot of time with my gaps too!
    It makes all the difference.:thumbs2:

I bet those 2's are how many times it has been blocked?

I primed and blocked at least 3 times because 1 time will get out the
fine scratches but serveral prime and block will get out ripples.

You're right homestar, after a car has sat for awhile its easy to forget the number of times its been primed and blocked. Here's a few more pics.

Its been awhile since I posted anything on the Vista Cruiser, so I thought I'd give you guys an update. The entire car has been painted inside and out,all the glass installed, interior mostly finished, suspension front and rear rebuilt.brakes rebuilt, front disc added and some of the stainless trim polished and installed. Its been awhile since I added any pics to my post so if there's any interest I'll try to get some posted. Tony
