Hello all! I am a noob to the wagon crowd but was on the hunt for the right one for about two years now. Came home with a 69 AMC Rebel last month and have been loving it so far. She seems to be a decent old girl with little for me to do to her but some loving care and odds and ends. I have a lot of experience in the Jeep department and a few other attributes I would be glad to share if I can be of help to anyone! My garage: 1969 AMC Rebel Wagon. 290 V8, auto, air, ps, pb 1965 Plymouth Barracuda. 273 Commando 1979 Jeep J10. AMC 360 (restoration in progress)
Been MIA for a while. Driving the old wagon at every opportunity! Upgrades since buying are: Fan motor upgraded to Blazer motor for more velocity put on a set of Flowmasters so it sounds fast at least New stereo mounted under dash to preserve the original in-dash AM New speakers and a 10" sub in the the rear hidden compartment tinted windows Wheel spacers on the rear to start sizing for new sock and shoes mechanical gauges to keep an accurate eye on what is happening in there built AMC 360 on the way to supplant the perky, yet tired 290, still deciding whether to pull the TH350 off the shelf from the old man's Chevelle or just bite the bullet and go 700R4
