I got my 85 K-Car wagon now, I'm having a problem with the wipers not turning on. The fuse is good, and the windshield washer works. The wagon sat for almost six years. Anything I should check? I noticed lots of wiper motors on E-Bay, are these cars bad for losing wiper motors?

Bench test and or test the wiper motor itself first, it may not be the problem at all. I only suggest this as my blue olds, wiper motor seemed weak, every now and then they would stop and I would have to turn them off and back on until one day all I got was a 'rrrrrrrr" sound from the wiper motor. No problem I though and swapped out the one in my parts car witch worked like a champ. Put it in my blue one and "rrrrrrr". My problem ended up being the switch itself, not the wiper motor.

By the way, thanks for not sharing you're new wagon with us until now:rofl2:

    Congrats:wave:

If it sat for a long time with high moisture in the air, the switch could be having problems making the circuit. Same with the other switches inside.
