Phone number comes up for up island, Bear Lake salvage Cowichan Vally . Seller must have found a old stash, his sellers list in the link has that black Rambler wagon I posted and a Studebaker wagon amongst other things. To bad it's so far away and sold as a whole, I'd bet Joe mite find a part or 2 he could salvage. http://www.usedvictoria.com/classified-ad/1957-buick-estate-wagon-parts-car-for-sale_23108604 What a shame...........
Here's our chance to say we own a 57 Caballero! The grille, front bumper, trim pieces are worth $750. From the photos it really does not look all that bad on the surface.
Sellers other treasures.......... I'll bet that General Motors truck in the background gets posted soon. 47 Mercury And the rambler witch was the first of what appears to be many.
I've parked my share of cars over the years for parts or future projects, but NEVER just putem down in the DIRT! Some people just ain't got no what I consider to be "Common Sense"!!!
Makes me think maybe the 57 Buick may have had wire wheels. Really sad to lay them in the dirt. I agree, some people ain't got no brungin uptance.
Wow, those poor cars look like they've been stored on Dagoba. I guess it's a good thing that there is almost nothing I need for my 58 that is common with the 57. All the lights and exterior trim are different. A windshield wiper switch might be common, but I think I've already found one locally. That's a really sad picture...
A Ford Consul? I haven't seen one of those in years - and I don't think I've ever seen a 4-door. Here's one that still on the streets: This is the 2-door that I've seen before: (Actually, this is called the Capri, but I think they are the same car underneath.)
