well looks like me and the dodge are off on a road trip. i'll be taking the scenic route up thru skyline drive and into Pa. then i think a stop at the AACA museum in hershey and the Eastern motor racing museum and then it's into NY to see my family. My sister is getting up there in age and is having some health issues, so i thought i would spend some time with her. then meet up with some of my old buddies for a trip to the race of gentlemen in wildwood nj. on the way back up to ny we will stop at Atco raceway for a day at the drags with more vintage cars. then it's back to see my family before i turn around and head back south . on the way home i'm thinking about visiting arlington national cemetery and seeing the tomb of the unknown soldier , then onto Fort Mchenry to see where the star spangled banner was written and then head towards south of the border and Pedro for a little pit stop ( this is one of the few hotels i got to go to as a kid and i still have pics from a few yrs ago. then down to florence sc for the stock car museum at historic darlington raceway and then onto south florida should be quite an action packed 7-10 day road trip:tiphat:

here's a few pics of today's travels along skyline drive. the deer were everywhere, i was really disappointed that i couldn't get the camera out quick enough to get a picture of the black bear which ran across the road about 50ft in front of me

That's one of my favorite late model wagons. Not seeing many here anymore.
Keep your eyes out for critters.

Lessee, since you were in Hershey, I'd have to guess the Railroad Museum at Strasburg (I think it's called "Steamtown, USA," but I could be wrong). Don't forget, if that's where you are, there's also the National Toy Train Museum to see.

you are correct for the railroad museum
from here it was onto valley forge national park which is where the wooden bridge is and the it was down to wildwood nj for the race of gentlemen and the old car pics
the green wagon is a 59 like mine but incredibly done by cody wells . you can see all the details of his build on the HAMB and it was recently featured in the rodder's journal

The 'Kopper Kart' you saw was one of Barris' better projects. From what I've read, that particular one is a recreation, the original having been destroyed.

Just Google 'Kopper Kart' and there's a lot of info out there......
