I'm old enough to remember using one of them, but also old enough to have forgotten everything I once knew.
I can still adjust a 1 bbl carb, and I can still use a timing light.....But the fine points of really using a Sunscope have escaped my noggin. :(

The answer to your question comes down to:

"Is it complete and does it work?"

Me too. But why do we want one?
I remember those and the large tube testors. My dad had one of those and a lot of new TV and radio tubes. He used to fix radios for friends and neighbors.

Well, before you put the fuel injection on, I would have said 'Diagnostsic tool'. But now - 'Garage Art'.

    I so love it.
Wouldn't mind it in my garage.
It's from an era when we took the time to fix and rebuild parts.
I still have that tool to adjust GM V-8 points with and a vacuum gauge that still gets used on occasion.
Also still have a hone to do wheel cylinders with.
I also remember a car I had that had a manual choke from the factory.
    That pic brought back memories.
    Thanks

Fifty years from now some young guy will bring home an old desk tower computer and modern diagnostic machine to decorate his man cave. Most likely his friends will say "make a beer cooler out of it.":2_thumbs_up_-_anima

I still adjust carburetors by ear, and use a timing light. Then again, most of my cars have had carburetors. I swear by all that is holy my next one will. I HATE fuel infection!
