What the Hell is wrong with people? Are they that desperate to ditch their automobile that they endorse it's destruction just to sell it faster? It's obviously been cared for over the last 40 years and is far from a beater.
It just dawned on me that there are lots of people who don't give a crap as evidenced by the Cash For Clunkers debacle where thousands doomed their perfectly operable cars for a guaranteed amount of federal tax dollars toward a new car. Well, at least it's Friday.
This seems to be a common thought around here... I don't know about you guys, but I buy and sell a lot of cars. I'm 31 years old, and have probably had at least 40 cars. If I get what I'm asking for a vehicle, I really don't care what you you do with it. You could set it on fire 100 ft from my property and I wouldn't care. The derby is a far better (and more fun) fate for an old, undesirable body style than sitting in somebody's side yard under a tree and returning to earth like most do. I'm no derby guy and I'm all for preserving a car future generations to enjoy, however, once the title's out my name, and the money has been put towards the next project, you can do what you want with it and it's no longer my problem. Sorry for the rant.
I agree. It's a great looking driver if nothing else. My mom had a '76 Cutlass Salon with a 350 back in the day, and that Olds was indestructible.
I'm a big fan of this Vista Cruiser body style. I'd put my Custom Cruiser restoration on hold if this one was closer.
Looks like an even bigger bargain as compared to this '76 Vista Cruiser for sale in Los Angeles with more miles and priced at a ridiculous $9500! http://losangeles.craigslist.org/sgv/cto/4685382392.html
