We have been looking at trying to find another wagon for my son to drive. Surprising he really likes our old one but the high miles and the serious rust have really become a problem. We might be going to check one out tomorrow. A 95 rodie wagon fully loaded with only 108K. Photos look great now I would like to see it up close. Wish us luck he has really been trying for a few months and everything has been either way out on price or just as rusty as ours.
Went and checked out the wagon and sorry to say it was a no go! You know it's not going to be good when you are handed the keys to start it up and all you hear is the click, click, click of the starter from a half dead battery. The front wheel housings where see thru and the rear wheel well housing where the same. The car was in some sort of crash based on the large amount of body filler in the driver rear qtr panel and the bad reapplication of the woodgrain on the tailgate. The floors and the frame looked real good the interior was in pretty nice shape, But the fact that the car would not start was not a good sign. Of course the place was a half used car lot with a repair shop hooked up to it. The mechanics where the ones selling the cars and could care less weather you wanted the thing or not. It has been written up as a learning experience and we will keep on looking. Buy the way they were asking $4995 for this car and it has 108K on the clock but it was noted on the sticker on the side window that the odometer was not correct. Good thing I fixed our roadie and it is for now back on the road!. Take care all and thanks for reading!! Dan
Bummer, but there is all ways the next one How ever....... Now that you decided against it ( I can understand not posting a pic or link just to make sure some one does not steal it out from you), we have un-written witch clearly state that ....... and with no pics, this clearly never happened, there was no wagon
