LOL valves don't need "cut" for unleaded gas! These were factory prepped for it.

It seems out of place to attach the word "Estate" to such a little car.

Not a Bad Looking Vega, But someone is Dreaming on the asking Price.

It does have A/C, Delux interior with the better Camaro Style Seats, Rear Window Defrost, the "estate" Woodgrain, and Bumper Rub Strips, But it also has the 1bbl engine (I am going by the single retaining nut for the air cleaner Lid, all 2bbl engines I have seen have 4 retaining nuts) And an Automatic trans. And probably has about a 2.78 rear gear.
It would get 30-35mpg highway at around 60mph, and would take quite awhile to get up to that speed.
They are fun little cars with the 2bbl engine, 4-speed manual, and 3.08 or better gears. But I hated driving the 75 Vega Sedan a Girl Friend had, It also had the 1bbl engine and Automatic trans. And it had almost no Options, so would be around 200lbs lighter than this wagon. And it was SLOOOOOOOOOOOW!!!!!!!

I used to fix and flip these back in the '80s. Never saw one with factory wood trim, though. I could be wrong, since it was 30 years ago. A '74 would not have had a catalytic converter. '75 was the first year for that. "Cutting valves for unleaded" makes no sense.

The GT had a progressive 2 BBL Holley and a bigger cam. I don't remember the 4 nuts on the air cleaner, though. I'm not arguing it, I just don't remember. I recall that there were a 2.53 ish, 2.78 ish and (I know for sure) 3.36 "performance" axle available. I was a young kid working for a Chevy dealer when the '71s came out, and I asked why such a low numerical ratio on the 2.53? I know now that the tiny tires allowed it. I drove some with the performance engine with a four speed and a 3.36 posi, and they did pretty well on burning some rubber, even with the "wide ovals". Most of them were complete stones, as far as performance goes. The one I put a 305 SBC engine did pretty well, though.

I had a 75 4 speed with air back in the day. The car would not get out of its own way and when you stopped with the air on you had to keep blipping the throttle to keep it running. Miserable car and it shook like crazy. It was only a few years old so that was as good as it got...
