I found the forum on a simple search which is the best. I drive a Ford, a Bronco and for about the last 10 yrs have been trying to recreate my past. Some funny memories with my family! My parents purchased a new 1976 Torino wagon, to be honest I was 7 at the time so I really don't remember the engine or more than it was white with a blue interior. It was the best jungle gym and playground ever. The only seat belts I remember were my dad's arm or colorful words giving my sisters and I some warning. Anyway long story short. I purchased a 76 Ranchero about 6 yrs back and restored it.. it wasn't the great white wagon. I sold it and the bug is back, I am looking for a 73-76 Torino wagon, no wood panels, I looking for another Ford for this family.. I am sure my dad would laugh....

    Welcome to the forum!

We'll help you find that Torino. Does it need to be a '76? The '75's are virtually identical, the '72 has the famous 'fish-mouth' grill (more collectible), and the later LTDII's had a more modern-looking front end. Heck, you could even get the Mercury version and have a Cougar wagon.

An official welcome to the forum. My personal Torino favorite is the 72 Gran Torino without wood. But we'll help spend your money on any year or body style. Good luck and make your dad proud.
We're living in our past everyday. Not much future left and the present doesn't seem like fun.

I would like a 76 for my peace of mind, but the facts are true, 1973 - 76 will work. I figure I will only see the front when I walk to it. From the inside there is no difference I just remember the Blue inside.

I actually looked at: 1973 Ford Gran Torino Wagon - $1600 (San Bernardino) that was the almost.
