Also on eBay with a BIN price of $6,500.

I think the seller would be lucky to get $6,500 for this car.

    From the ad:

"HASN'T BEEN STARTED IN 8 YEARS, BUT DID RUN WHEN IT WAS PARKED.
    HAS LIGHT SURFACE RUST.
HAS RUST IN THREE DOORS, BUT I HAVE REPLACEMENT DOORS THAT GO WITH IT.
HAS SOME RUST IN THE FLOOR BOARDS, VERY REPAIRABLE.
NO RUST IN THE SPARE TIRE COMPARTMENT.
    GAS TANK LOOKS GREAT.
GLASS IS ALL GOOD EXCEPT CRACK IN WINDSHIELD."

On a different forum, one of the moderators has a picture he posts from time to time when people ask about cars parked years ago with running motors. The implication is, of course, that you can just drop in a new battery, add fresh fuel and fire it up. The picture he posts is of a small block Ford with the intake manifold pulled, and a huge mouse nest on the deck of the block

In my personal experience, someone had pulled the plugs on a 289 before it was parked. The engine was seized. after trying all the tricks I knew to free up an engine, I pulled the heads to find mice had made their homes in the cylinders. The engine was beyond repair.

For $6,500 I would want to have a lot more certainty about the condition of the driveline than it ran 8 years ago. That being said, it does look like it could be a nice project. Just not $6,500 nice in my opinion.
