Unfortunately, he doesn't show a photo of the one thing he says that's really wrong with the car, and that's the dent on the driver's side. Still, a very nice looking, well-optioned car for the money. And look at the houses in the neighborhood! Very nice.
This looks like a pretty good deal for the money, especially with the low mileage. This is just a gut reaction, but it seems to me Pontiac, percentage wise, made more steel sided wagons of that vintage, than any of the other GM lines.
Yeah - that kind of bothers me a bit, too. Probably just an oversight on the sellers' part. There's a shot down the left side from the front, and you can't see anything obvious on the quarter, so it's probably not a bad dent. And you've got no wood grain to worry about, so the repair should be fairly inexpensive. Very similarly equipped to mine.....
Anyone think it's unusual it does not have body side moldings? Those were practically standard equipment by 1989.
I cannot find a single stock image of a 1989 Safari without body side moldings, whether with wood grain or not!
