Two engines available: 400 2V and 460 4V http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/4597499461.html Longer than most our wagons I recon.
Is that really 8200 miles? Here's a nice article about this- the last of the autosaurus giganticus http://thetruthaboutcars.com/2010/02/curbside-classic-1977-lincoln-town-car/ Like the first comment; "I love cars that have efficiency of design in terms of space and fuel usage. This car has none of that. And I want one".
Land yacht? My Ranchero has been accused as being an aircraft carrier! Funny aside: I saw a '79 LTD sedan in red/white that you could tell was a fire chief's car at one time; the license plate was "FYRBOAT."
Yes, the sheer size of these jumbo jets is amazing by contemporary standards when a Camry or Impala is considered "full size" now!
These things are very coo, though I've only recently started to notice that. As for whitewalls, I can'stand them on anything. Black or RWL the only way to roll for me.
Used to work Security at a property with too much parking structure. A nearby auto dealer used it to store extra cars. 1999 Ford Taurus's were labeled as Large, when brand new. My 1977 Dodge Apenwagon was once proclaimed, by a younger co-worker, as being "HUUUUUGE!!!"
Talked to owner. He corrected typo in ad from 8200 to 82000. So not a low mile cream puff find. If no interest a current price I am waiting for drop to $1500 or below then might take a look. Price per pound gets real low at that point.
finsrin If this one is as nice as it looks in the pictures it's well worth $2000. Most of us don't have anywhere to store the barges you have already.
Floating Castle I currently own a 1975 Lincoln have owned others and with the 460 usually get 20 or above on mileage down the highway 10-14 in town, personally prefer the cloth interiors
Our 1974 LTD 460 with 3.25 gears on good day 14mpg highway. After high flow exhaust and advancing cam 15-16mpg highway.
always try to get the 2.5 gears in the lincolns that might make the difference and that was before this ethanol as well
