Maybe it has something to do with my car being all blacked out everything with plates that read RIP PMD. . . :banghead3:

Took me a minute to figure out what PMD was. :) Actually, to me, your beautiful wagon screams Batmobile rather then hearse. :D Still lovin' that Pontiac.

I had to get the front tires replaced on the Colony Park to drive it home. The teenager who worked at the tire shop commented that it looks like a hearse. I just looked at him straight without comment. I can't blame him since that is all the long roof cars that he has been exposed to.

**No offense meant to hearse drivers/ owners**.
Honestly I can't really see calling our wagons a hearse as offensive or degrading. Better than being called a min-v** or SU*. I can't even say it!:49:
Lots of station wagons have been converted or served as hearses. What a great way to be carried away. Please don't stuff my lifeless body into a minivan!:banghead3:

Given the age and the way some folks who drive stationwagons look it could easily be mistaken as a hearse with the driver doing double duty as the, uh, passenger as well.........:whew:

I saw a fellow in a black 90's caprice and he looked like he'd just crawled up front from laying in the back to get to the graveyard. Gads we laughed as both of us had the same first impression.

I am with CAT - it doesn't bother me at all that some consider it a hearse - far better that than an SUV. If there is anything that bothers me it is when they look at me, then the wagon, and ask if I bought it new :banghead3:
