Hello all, Just joined and trying to navigate the site and not wanting to roll over any toes in the process. I have owned a number of Ford cars and trucks (new ones) and now am reaching back into the 1950's for a special one, a 1957 Ford Country Sedan for my next project. I have a 1951 Ford F5 (1-1/2 ton) truck that will be on the rack for restoration in ~ 6 months. Hope to find good information here from alot of smart station wagon owners..

    Hey! Welcome aboard!

Those 1957 Fords were gorgeous. If you're looking for general parts, you might think about the Northern US and Canadian prairies. Fords were king up here, and roadsalt doesn't work below - 15C (3F).

Here's one about 3 hours west of us, who does ship to the US. He also has links to some of the better 'parts yards' in North and South Dakota. Good guy, and a car nut himself. He's restoring a 1957 Galaxie Sunliner.

:Welcome:Ford57. Hope you have good luck finding a decent wagon. Just hang in there and wait for a nicer one so you can enjoy it right away.
By the way most of us have big toes so don't worry about rolling or stepping on any.

Haven't found a blue '57 Country Sedan in my searching so far.....
Does it absolutely have to be a '57? If not, there's this nice '59 Country Sedan out in Thousand Oaks, CA (in the Ventura CL.....)

    http://ventura.craigslist.org/cto/4421867798.html
Owner (not me) is asking $16.9k (I have no connection to this wagon. Just an ad that somebody posted up in our 'Auctions, CL' section...)

    1957 ford country sedan

Thanks Krash Kaddillak for the email post and link. Yes I am looking for the 1957 Ford Country Sedan - 9 Passenger Vehicle starmist blue and colonial white. My My parents started out with that one after getting married back in 1956. The car that you listed in the link is exactly the type of car I am looking for in the year 1957. That link documents the car, what it has in it, the pics are very good quality, and that price is well within my price range. Should you come across one listed as a 1957, please let me know. I know there is one out there that is the one, just need all the Station Wagon eyes looking.

Everybody keep your eyes out for 'Ford1957'........

Here's one you could turn into your blue/white wagon, without too much trouble...

Looking at some (not blue) in nice condition, you're going to be spending $35k or more. If you have a few months lead time, you can get this one done with a total investment of about half of that (maybe).
